Address and/or phone number modification
The owner sends back, by post, one of the documents he was supplied with (identification form or confirmation) with the new data. The new data are registered in the databank as soon as we get them

Owner change 
The former owner has to give the documents related to this animal to the new owner. This new owner sends back, by post mail, one of the documents he got (identification form or confirmation) with the new data (name, adress, phone number)The new data are recorded in the databank as soon as we get them.

Document loss
If the new owner cannot get one of the documents concerning the animal, he has to ask for a certificate, signed by a Vet, telling that he is the new animal owner. This precaution prevents from any dispute about the animal ownership and, if the animal is stolen, it prevents from a registration in the databank under an other owner's name.

Animal death 
The owner sends back to ID Chips, by post, all the ID Chips documents concerning this animal with the date of the death (see on the bottom of the form). This data will be recorded in the databank

Confirmation of a change (except animal death) :

Within 2 weeks, the owner gets, by post mail, a confirmation document with the new recorded data.
He has to check that these data are correct.
In that case, he keeps the document.
If not, he sends back this document to ID Chips with the corrected data.
The corrected data are registered in the databank as soon as we get them. The owner gets a new confirmation within 2 weeks.
